What We Do at the TLC

The need to confidently access and use technology is increasing in our daily lives. The Technology Learning Centre (TLC) in Parksville provides free technology literacy services to Oceanside community adults aged 19+.

Here are some of the things we can help you learn more about:

• Email and texting
• Accessing online governmental services
• Online banking
• Awareness of and protection from technology-based scams
• Using popular operating systems like Windows 10, 11 and MacOS
• Social media use and misuse
• Using smart phones & tablets such as iPad/iPhone/Android
• Managing personal files and data effectively and securely.

We are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays of each week and offer individual technology tutoring and group technology workshops. You must register to use our services.
