Hey groovy friends!
Are you starting kindergarten this year? Then we have got a COOL event for you: Pete the Cat’s “First Steps to School” Fair!
Our wonderful Community Partners, dedicated to supporting early learning, have come together to host a special community event for preschool-aged children who will be entering kindergarten in 2026!
Children and their grown-ups are invited to enjoy a fun, engaging experience designed to help ease those first steps into school. With the help of Pete the Cat, who is well-loved for his stories about self-confidence and overcoming challenges, children will feel encouraged and excited about starting their school journey.
This free event includes:
- Climbing aboard a real school bus
- Fun art and craft activities
- A meet-and-greet with Pete the Cat
- Helpful parent resources
- And more!

Registration is appreciated but drop-ins are welcome!
Things to note:
- Book online and register early to avoid line ups at the door.
- Please be aware that this event tends to get very busy at the beginning so consider arriving later if you child requires a less busy environment.
