After a long nap, Pete the Cat is back!

Pete the Cat came for a visit at the First Steps to School Fair. There were lots of groovy activities with some cool cats!

We had a chance to talk to some of our Kindergarten teachers and work on some early literacy skills. Our community partners shared resources and activities to help make the transition into Kindergarten as easy as possible. Physical literacy, numeracy, emotional literacy were also explored – all while having a rocking time! There was music, dancing and laughter. We had so much fun!!  We even got to got to go shopping at Pete’s Grocery Store and take home some ingredients to make Pete Soup. YUM!
